Setenil is located on the north east of the Province, in the middle of the mountain range, on the White Villages Route and very near the "Sierra de Grazalema" Natural Park.

Its Historical-Artistic Complex and houses, under and over a rock, depict extreme beauty and originality.

The lower slope of the Castle (which preserves its tower and cistern) is adapted to River Guadalporcún's course.

The old Town Hall and the Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación Parish stand out in Villa street.

10:00h. a romantic taste
The Camino de las Limosnas goes through a mountain and holm oak track and meets the 'Bandoleros' Route. The Traveller Route is another romantic reference.

14:00h. a strong lunch.
Hams, sausages and cheeses, countryside soups, scrambled eggs with asparagus, bread crumbs, stews, 'gazpachuelo', broad beans and sweet potatoes with honey make a varied and tasty menu.

16:00h. crossroads…
The Cañada de Málaga was a commercial and transport route. The Camino de la Aguilera reaches Sierra Mollina and the old Camino de Osuna. The Colada de Venta de Leches is also recommended.

16:00h. ...or natural routes
The Mills route goes through the Alcalá del Valle path, over the streamside. The River Trejo Escarpes route is specially recommended for its beauty and natural richness.
