Alcalá is in a valley, on the North West side of the Province, where the White Villages Route comes to an end.

Cross its monumental heritage.
The Santa María del Valle Church, in the Town Square, is
baroque and was built between the 17th and 18th centuries.
17:30h. historical fountain
The Fuente Grande (Big Fountain), in calle Real, is built in ashlar
stone. It recovers water when the drought is over. Roman remainings
have been discovered in its surroundings.
18:00h. memory of the departure
The Plaza del Emigrante (Emigrant Square) has a sculpture to honour
town leavers.
18:30h. other points of interest
The Cristo de la Misericordia Hermitage, the Vicente Aleixandre
street, the Cañaveral street and Virgen de los Remedios
gardens and the fountain in Plaza Periáñez.

10:00h. prehistoric route
Up to 65 archaelogical sites have been discovered in town. The
Dolmen Field of Tomillos, from the Megalithic Era, is in excellent
state. Its most appreciated monument is a Menhir (standing stone),
unique in the Province.
12:00h. dolmens and hunting
The Dolmens in the Cacería Hill are older. The Cacería
has an architechtonic complex of great value which was used by
hunters.
14:00h. asaparagus on the table
The asparagus is grown in an ideal land and in the pure air of
the mountains. It has many preparations.
16:00h. the water convent
The Caños Santos Convent, 6 kilometres from Alcalá
and developed by the Franciscanos Terceros congregation, was built
in the 16th century.

Cross the Cerezo Stream side from Fuente Sierra to Cerro Castillón
and its dolmens.
14:00. other white villages
The location of Alcalá will allow you a visit to South
Setenil, on the Eastern side of the Ronda Mountain Range, and
Tower Alháquime.
