The Court Riding Academy is one of the most famous shop-windows for the Spanish horsemanship all over the world. Moreover, the more than 3000-year-old horse breeding tradition in Jerez and the province of Cadiz contributes substantially to this fame, all that in a region which counts as the cradle of the famous „ Spanish race “.
Since her foundation in 1973 by Álvaro Domecq, the Court Riding Academy has received numerous national and international awards. Today she functions as a foundation, which is subordinated to the Andalusian trade-, sports- and tourism ministry.

During the past two years the horses and riders of the Court Riding Academy visited Paris, Toulouse, Lyons, Brussels, Antwerp, Vienna, Hannover, Munich and Rome.
