Once more the Formula-one circus has chosen the race track of Jerez for his topical training runs. Beside the current world champion, Fernando Alonso, the presence of sixfold world champion Michael Schuhmacher is also expected in Jerez.
The training runs take place in each case between the 4th and the 7th of July as well as between the 18th and 21st of July.
During the first training the teams of Ferrari, McLaren, Renault, Sauber, Toyota and Williams will test her cars, in the second phase Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, Renault, Sauber, Toyota and Williams will be present. Beside the test pilots of the single brands, the chief drivers also come to Jerez, to test the latest innovations in the vehicles personally.

During the training runs the organizers offer a ticket for the spectator's rostrum at a price of 3 euros, which permits the admission between 10 and 5 o'clock; the training runs begin daily at nine o'clock in the morning.
Every single training team uses to be composed of 80 to 90 persons, under them mechanics, engineers, drivers and hostesses.

Therefore, during the a week lasting training runs, about 500 F-1 pros are expected, who will settle down in the metropolitan area of Jerez, a circumstance, whose positive economical effects will be noticeable in the whole region.

Nevertheless, the July-training runs will not be the only ones which the formula 1 holds this year in Jerez. Thus, it is planned that in September the teams from McLaren, Sauber, Renault and BAR return to Jerez.
Then, in October, come along Ferrari and Toyota. Finally, the training season in Jerez comes to an end in December, when the teams of Ferrari, McLaren, Renault, Sauber, Toyota and Williams line up once more for another week, to test her vehicles on the race track of the province of Cádiz.
Both the F-1 pilots and their teams consider the “Circuito de Jerez” as one of the best race tracks of the world, not only because of his course, but also on account of his good additional equipment.
