Harrys Golf, the Swedish tour operator, will set up in the province this autumn

Harrys Golf, the Swedish tour operator, one of the most successful promoters of the Costa de la Luz as a golf tourism destination, plans to set up a delegation in Rota (Cadiz) in the autumn to attract tourists from the United Kingdom and Scandinavia.

Last year, Harrys Golf sent 380 customers last year. It already has reservations for 800 clients this season and it plans to bring 1,200 golfers to the hotels and tourist apartments in Rota, Jerez and El Puerto de Santa Maria next year, as this Swedish tour operator began working with Costa Ballena and currently brings clients to Golf El Puerto, Villanueva and Sherry Golf.

width=To make the destination more attractive, the tour operator plans to launch “Bravo Club”, a new formula where apart from providing accommodation and the rounds at the golf course, the tourists will be able to sign up for Spanish and Flamenco classes in the province, or try out other sports apart from golf that is the main reason for their journey.

In order to promote the tourist destinations with which it works, which includes the province of Cadiz, Harrys Golf will visit 25 Swedish golf courses as part of the country's most important golf tours, organised by the Aktiespararna Shareholders Association.
The Cadiz Provincial Tourist Board has provided over 500 leaflets about golf in Swedish and DVDs with images of the province that they will be filmed on a large screen located as a backdrop to the tour venues. This promotion campaign began in June and will end in September.

In 2005, over 7,000 Swedes stayed in the hotels of Cadiz province.
